For DMOs and city tourism offices in Japan

Turn your destination into journeys.

SatoriCamp helps you turn local businesses into self-guided journeys for international visitors, bring those visitors to your town, and prove every visit they make.

Live demo: Mishima, Shizuoka. Business names and images are placeholders.

Visitors pass through. They don't stop.

Japan welcomed more international visitors than ever in 2025, yet for many regional towns the station is just a place to change trains. SatoriCamp gives visitors a reason to spend the afternoon, and their money, with local businesses.

42.68M

One closed loop, from campaign to verified visit.

You build the journeys. SatoriCamp brings the visitors and proves they arrived.

  1. 1

    Create

Build journeys from your own businesses: three to five stops over a few hours, each with an experience worth up to ¥5,000.

  2. 2

    Promote

Share each journey with a tracked link or QR code: ads, hotels, the station, the tourist office. Every channel is measured.

  3. 3

    Connect

Visitors book on their phone with nothing to install, activate the journey at the tourist office, and show a QR code at each stop.

  4. 4

    Measure

Each business scans the visitor's code, so every visit is verified. Your dashboard shows visits, value and cost per verified visit.

The number your budget report needs

Cost per verified local-business visit

Campaign spend divided by visits that local businesses scanned. Not impressions. Not clicks.

Good for everyone in the loop

For DMOs and cities

  • Money stays in local shops: the experience budget is paid to your businesses as visits are redeemed.
  • Visitors who stop, not just pass through.
  • Data you have never had: where visitors come from, which journeys they choose, which campaigns brought them.
  • A number you can report: cost per verified local-business visit.
  • Planned around funding programmes. You apply; SatoriCamp supports the plan, schedule and reporting. Approval is never guaranteed.

For local businesses

  • No setup fee, no subscription, no commission.
  • No app and no training: scan the visitor's QR code with your phone.
  • Paid for every experience you redeem.
  • New customers who walk in with a reason to be there.

For visitors

  • An afternoon or an evening, already arranged.
  • Every experience included and already paid for.
  • Chosen by interest (food, culture, nightlife), not by map.
  • Nothing to download.

What SatoriCamp is not

Not a tour operator. Not a booking site. Not an audio guide. Not a stamp rally. Your destination builds the journeys; SatoriCamp brings the visitors and proves they came.

How it is funded

Visitors pay nothing and businesses pay nothing. The DMO sets a fixed experience budget, most of which goes straight to local businesses as visits are redeemed, plus one platform fee to SatoriCamp. No revenue share.
